About Me

I'm a writer with a proven track record. I deliver creative copy based on detailed research, and investigative interviews.  My writing is tailored specifically for the needs of my client, and I never miss a deadline. 

In June 2016, 'Something in the Air', my Canadian Living magazine article (February 2015) was the runner-up for Best Short Article in the 2016 Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) awards. 

In June 2015, 'It's All In Your Genes', my Canadian Living magazine article (June 2014) won the 2015 Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) award for Best Short Article. 

In 2014, my Canadian Living magazine article 'Rise Up' (September 2013) was a finalist in the 'Service: Health & Family category' of the 2013 National Magazine Awards. This article also earned an honourable mention in the long/features article category at the 2014 Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) awards. 

My Best Health magazine article 'Unlock the Secrets of Your Family Tree' captured the 2013 Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) award for Short Article. I also received an honourable mention in the same category for my Canadian Living magazine article, '10 Secrets to a Successful Hospital Stay.'

My first novel, 'London Belongs to Me' was published in October 2016 by Kirkwall Books. It's been featured by Redbook, Elle US, Cosmo, Popsugar, BuzzFeed, Brit + Co, the Huffington Post, Culturalist, and Parade, plus it was praised and recommended by RT Book Reviews, and Kirkus Reviews. 

Before my life as a freelance writer, I spent twenty years in Toronto's broadcasting industry at CHUM Television (Citytv, and MuchMusic), Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting (Life Network/Slice, National Geographic Channel, and Discovery Health Channel), and Warner Bros. Television Distribution.
